What Kind of Craft Beer Is This?

Characteristics

Crispy, aromatic, dry, and bitter. This beer carefully incorporates the standards expected of a West Coast IPA while pursuing drinkability that makes you want glass after glass.

A West Coast style IPA characterized by sharp bitterness, vivid hop aroma, citrus-filled flavor, and a dry finish.

見た目 WCIPA のCraft Beerらしいクリア

Clear. Perhaps slightly whitish? That level of clarity.

Aroma

アロマ (Orthonasal Receptor) IPA with characteristic hop fruitiness

チクルすぎないパッションフルーツ、パイン。シトラ系の熟れたメロン。さわやか。鼻を近づけるとやや瓜のような印象も感じられる。

フレーバー(Retronasal Receptor) 酵母由来のフルーティさ

Kiwi-like? Cider and mandarin Fanta-like quality. Not just hops – yeast-derived too. The brewer’s skill shows. Acidity like unripe persimmon. Not unpleasant at all.ゃない美しい酸味。

Taste

Mouthfeel

Enters gently like water but not affectedly so. Natural and beer-like.

Body and Texture

Enters the palate naturally. Lands on the tongue like water with no catch or sting. Warming on the tongue brings definite bitterness chasing behind. Beautiful. Grapefruit-likeな風味を持ちつつピーチのような甘さ、炭酸ガスに乗る立体的なフルーティさが心地良い。口当たりは水のようなのに味わいとしては決して薄くなく美しい。ゴクゴク飲みたい。アイスキャンディーのような爽快感。

The Swallow

Cleanly dissipates. Seems dry, but not overly crisp – a dimensional aftertaste that naturally fades away. Beautiful…

Aftertaste

A refreshing watermelon-like impression remains. Fresh. Not quite cucumber-melon but definite watermelon. Matches the refreshment. Comfortable. Makes you wish for a breeze. Not cloying.

Overall Impression

立体的で美しい。口当たり〜飲み込むまで本当に完成されてる。全ての体験が心地良い。苦みが来るまでの水のような優しさ、自然な苦みの出し方にうっとりする。かっこいい。すごくいい。お気に入りのWCIPA. Hokkaido Brasserie Knot WIND WCIPA That was the review!

Dregs

Strong chicle-like nuances. Berry and bubblegum quality. Tasty, but the stimulating spiciness when on the tongue is strong and doesn’t have the same dimensional beauty as the main body.られない。絶対に分けた方が良い。ベルギー系？酵母みをやや感じた。桃っぽい辛さというほどではない刺激を感じる。おいしい。
