This is a beer bar in Ikebukuro. The tap list is always well-balanced — except during special events, you can typically find at least one tap each of easy-drinking lagers, IPAs, sours, and imperial stouts. It’s fun just checking out the thoughtfully curated tap lists posted on social media by the two uniquely talented staff members.
I started with a crisp Festbier lager. I hadn’t had many Festbiers before, so it was a fresh experience. The sharp dryness combined with the citrusy character of European hops made it perfect for a hot day. It made me want to visit a real Oktoberfest someday.
Two Fingers, where you can chat with Nao and Stef while drinking, really is an outstanding beer bar. It attracts customers who truly love craft beer. When I want to talk beer with people, this is definitely where I come. It’s a genuinely wonderful place to enjoy even on your own — a bar overflowing with love for beer.
The tap takeover was also fantastic. TBB’s head brewer was there too. I got to hear about the brewing process and their pending brewing license application. Once they start brewing, I’d love to visit again.
