Using Idaho 7, Citra, Centennial, and Cascade hops—grapefruit and floral aromas, fresh drops of juicy tropical and stone fruit, hoppy and piney flavors finishing with a pleasant bitterness.

Appearance

透明な黄金

Aroma

Aroma (Orthonasal)

Green apple and alcohol. Something perceivable as peach-like heat. Slight resinousness, pine character. A hard melon-like, resinous aroma.

Flavor (Retronasal)

Refreshing. A cooked marmalade-like aroma where citrus and malt sweetness intermingle hits the nose. As it passes through the mouth, you pick up cider-like phenolics common in American-Belgian style beers. Very pleasant. This accelerates the refreshing quality.

Mouthfeel

A natural, beer-like mouthfeel.

Body and Texture

Sweet malt and grape peel-like citrus. Acidity. Idaho 7’s slightly earthy impression lingers.

The Swallow

Leans dank. Delicious. Hits the back of the throat firmly. Well-balanced and not overbearing. Not flashy but elegant. Has a quality of pushing into the back of the throat.

Aftertaste

Marmalade-like acidity and citrus linger long.

Overall Impression

I imagine it would have been even better fresh, but I still enjoyed the yeast-derived aromas. The hopping wasn’t overdone—well-balanced. Crisp without being cloying, easy to keep drinking. Comfortable.

Dregs

Not spicy but the alcohol flavor is strong. Not particularly tasty. Somewhat medicinal.
