This bold, bitter IPA captures the mountain’s rugged character, using local pine needles for a fresh greenery aroma and fragrant hops to express the vibrant wildflowers.

2003年に国内初となる「ゼロ・ウェイスト宣言」を行い、ごみを生み出さない町を目指す徳島県上勝町。そこは徳島市内から車で約1時間の山奥で、コンビニやスーパーもない、広大な自然と美しい川以外 “何も無い” 町でした。進む高齢化と時代の波に飲まれ、消え去りかけていたこの町が世界に知られる存在となったのは、町が投げかけた小さな「問い」にあったのです。
The driving force was not government or political strategy, but the pure concern of individual townspeople for their town’s future. We were moved by this town’s ‘courage to act’ and decided to collaborate. Through RISE & WIN, we aim to convey the charm rooted in Kamikatsu’s lifestyle and experiences.

Beer Style Guidelines

99. American-Style India Pale Ale

　American IPA color ranges from pale to copper. Chill haze and hop haze are acceptable. Fruity esters range from low to high. Hop aroma and flavor are high to very high with floral, fruity, sulfury, onion/garlic, citrus, or piney/resinous character. Hop bitterness is medium-high to very high. Malt aroma and flavor are medium-low to medium. Very low diacetyl acceptable. Body is medium-light to medium.

Aroma

Aroma (Orthonasal)

Passion fruit, chive-garlic notes. Toasty roasted malt without harsh bitterness. Rum raisin-like aroma. Hints of melon bread. Strong hops.

Flavor (Retronasal)

Beautiful kiwi with alcohol. Floral notes, grapefruit.

Taste

Mouthfeel

Natural, beer-like quality

Body and Texture

Strong malt sweetness. Slightly thick impression but harmonizes with alcohol.

The Swallow

Clean sake-like throat feel. Goes down naturally.

Aftertaste

An incredibly pleasant rum raisin note lingers and lingers! Delicious! Makes you crave ice cream.

Sediment

Live yeast funk with hop citrus. Delicious. Slightly spicy – a peel-like spiciness.

ほぼ文句がないが、個人的な好みで減点してしまった。ややモルトが強く甘さが目立っているきらいがあり、このスタイルとしてはもう少しホップの苦みを主張してほしいと思った。

お茶の強さとC系ホップの力強さの調和を感じました。文句なしにめちゃくちゃおいしいIPAでした。ありがとうございました。
