Kamado Brewery is located in the nature-rich town of Kamado in Mizunami, Gifu (岐阜県瑞浪市). It’s surprisingly accessible at about 50 minutes from Nagoya (名古屋) by JR Chuo Main Line, and within walking distance from Kamado Station. If driving, the nearest exit is Mizunami IC on the Chuo Expressway, but we strongly recommend taking the train if you plan to enjoy beer.

Kamado Brewery is helmed by Satoshi Niwa, a legend of the Japanese craft beer scene. It’s a brewery where solid technique born from years of experience coexists with the challenge of exploring new styles.

SMaSH IPA (Single Malt, Single Hop)

A simple yet profound IPA brewed with just one type of malt and one type of hop. This style lets hop character shine through directly, showing a different expression each time depending on the hop variety used. Its simplicity demands true brewing skill — a quintessential Niwa creation.

Pale Ale (Signature)

Kamado Brewery’s signature Pale Ale. The balance between malt sweetness and hop bitterness is exquisite, with a reliable finish that makes you want glass after glass. Approachable for craft beer beginners while still satisfying dedicated beer lovers — its completeness truly shines.
