Sucka Fish 3x IPA is a Triple IPA with ripe fruit and fresh pine flavors.

　“Sucka Fish Triple IPA”は、熟したフルーツとフレッシュな松の味わいを持つトリプルIPA。

4種類のトリプルIPAをリリースする“3X IPA”シリーズの1作目。

名称は“馬鹿野郎”という意味のスラングであり、スタイル名は“とても美味しそうなトリプルIPA”という意味合いを持つ。

Appearance

黄金。透明。

Aroma

Orthonasal Aroma

Gorgeous ginkgo and dragon fruit-like aromas with sharp alcohol. Elegant, with a hint of phenolic florals. Fruit arrives first, then flowers bloom. Beautiful.

Retronasal Flavor

強いホップ感ややメロン系のアルコールの香りがする。茎っぽい。ドラゴンフルーツ、少しの酸味のあるサクランボ、グレープフルーツの皮系の辛さがやや。強いキウイ系の酸味がやってくると同時にワサビのような辛さも感じる。許容範囲。焼き魚と合いそう。

Taste

Mouthfeel

You feel the weight of alcohol. Enters smoothly but with a cold, heavy quality.

Body and Texture

Heavy yet light. A quality often found in whiskey. Water-like. Rolling the liquid in the mouth reveals malt sweetness and definite protein character.

The Swallow

Nearly no dankness, more like a whiskey-and-water throat feel. Falls slowly and heavily. Like bass-note music.

Aftertaste

ドライでホップの余韻がわずかに残る。あっさりとしている。キウイ系の黄色い柑橘。

Bottom of the Glass

やや薬品っぽい。湿布感。美味しくはない。ピクルスと合いそう。

Overall Impression

丁寧なアルコール感に合わせるようなフルーティな味わい キウイ系の余韻が最高でした。とても美味しかったです。ここ最近のマイベストIPAです。ダンクさはないんですが、ダンクさがなくて素晴らしいビールは素晴らしいと思えました。よかったです。
