Beer Review

Appearance

So hazy you cannot see through to the other side.

Aroma

Aroma (Orthonasal)

ガムシロップのような甘さ。やや生臭さ？金属のようなAroma。ドライホップは控えめなんだと思う。イギリスらしい。Aromaの尖った主張が少ない。

Flavor (Retronasal)

Gum syrup, artificial sweetener-like bitterness. However, unlike artificial sweetener, it is clean and does not linger. As temperature rises, a raw hop character or harshness emerges.

Taste

Mouthfeel

Gentle. Not cloying.

Body and Texture

Somehow there’s a lactose-like quality? Gentle. Is there no lactose? Sweetness is present. Malt is decently there. Caramel notes are proper too. However, beyond the caramel, there seems to be a slight sharp bitterness like scorched malt. As temperature rises on the tongue: marmalade. A touch of berry. Chicle.

The Swallow

★まったくキツさがない。好みとはハズれるが、これはほんとうにすごい。ちょっと重めの水を飲んでいるみたいで、刺激を感じずに喉を落ちていく。炭酸は弱くないのに！すごい。 このThe Swallowの美しさはイギリスのビターを思い浮かべる。イギリスらしいと思える。すごい。、

Aftertaste

余韻にしつこく残るいかつい強烈なビタリングホップの強さが好み。本体のTasteとのギャップは感じる。チクルっぽさもかなりつよい。

Overall Impression

Is there no lactose? Probably not. Tropical hops are strong. The complete lack of throat irritation is truly remarkable and reminds me of English bitter. And yet it’s a West Coast IPA – that’s incredibly cool.

Sediment/Bottom

Nearly the same as the main pour. Fine to mix in. Slight harshness.
