Appearance
Clear. Perhaps slightly reddish in hue—similar to Yebisu beer.

Aroma (Orthonasal)
Biscuit and caramel? (Like a hard caramel straight from the fridge.) Heated sugar. Slightly tea-like. Classic lager yeast character.

As the temperature rises, more biscuit character emerges. The fresh-baked quality intensifies.

Aroma (Retronasal)
Lemon and flowers. Classic lager. Lemon peel.

Mouthfeel
Distinctly beer-like. Gentle, moderate carbonation. Enters the mouth smoothly. The restrained carbonation is a welcome touch.

Body & Texture
Biscuit. On the tongue, bitterness slowly builds. Gradual. Yet there’s a lemon drop-like sweetness alongside a clean, refreshing bitterness reminiscent of herbal throat lozenges.

The Swallow
A crisp, clean finish that is quintessentially lager.

Aftertaste
Lemon peel lingers for a long time. Strong citrus presence but not overly bitter. Very pleasant.

Overall Impression
An intense biscuit-forward, crisp lemon lager. Really excellent!

Off-Flavors
None detected.

Bottom of Glass
Maybe slightly hoppy? Nothing bad at all. Very good. Mixing it in would be fine. The marmalade character intensifies. A marmalade-flavored biscuit.
