Appearance
Crystal clear with no chill haze whatsoever

Aroma (Orthonasal)
Hops nestled in an enchanting heaviness. Alcohol and pineapple. Chinook? The grassy companion might be Comet? Amarillo with a warm apricot character. Beautiful. A harmony of alcohol, malt, and hops.

Aroma (Retronasal)
A gentle bitterness passes through the nasal passage. Amarillo’s apricot riding on a sharp alcohol note. Sweetness. A slight minty quality as well.

Mouthfeel
Natural and beer-like. A clean grassy character reminiscent of carbonated black tea.

Body & Texture
As it warms on the tongue, bitterness spreads like marmalade. Almost tea-like. Ultimately, apricot. There’s a near-charred nuance, but it’s not unpleasantly dominant. Spice and medicinal citrus on the tongue (Comet?). The malt presence is remarkably subtle in flavor, yet has a solid heft like toasted cookies. However, the flavor itself remains restrained.

The combination of Comet’s grassiness and alcohol creates a beautiful tea-like quality

The Swallow
There’s an opulence that could be called dank, yet it falls just short of true dankness.

Aftertaste
A grassy character and apricot-like hop bitterness linger for a long time.

Overall Impression
The weight from the high ABV beautifully accentuates the hop characteristics. Tea-like quality, medicinal notes, apricot. Everything is clean with absolutely no harshness or astringency. The malt contribution is substantial and excellent, yet it’s not assertive—just pleasantly comfortable.

Off-Flavors
None detected.

Bottom of Glass
Has a medicinal menthol patch quality. Not pleasant. Best to pour separately. No harshness or astringency, but somehow reminiscent of a menthol patch.
