Appearance

Whitish yellow, close to skin-tone.

Aroma

Aroma (Orthonasal)

Very concentrated malt sweetness as a base, with the cool character of NZ-style hops on top. Peach and pineapple. Slight starchy impression too.

Flavor (Retronasal)

Peach and pineapple. Not overpowering but very concentrated. Rich flavor. Slight Mitsuya Cider-like sweetness. Apple tea-like phenolic impression. Tangerine-like acidity. Very little grapefruit. Fig-like, strawberry-like fruルーティさもある。

Taste

Mouthfeel

Very gentle and silky entry. Oats.

Body and Texture

Thick body with a touch of acidity. Solid bitterness but endlessly milky. Slight Calpis-like acidity that isn’t cloying. When swirling in the mouth, a hop-derived prickly heat emerges. Grape skin. A touch of menthol, mint. Like slightly firm, not-fully-ripe peaches preserved in sugar but with the sugar sweetness removed. Tangerine. All supported by a cookie-like body.

The Swallow

Dank impression — you can gulp it down deep. Feels incredibly satisfying, making you want to keep drinking.

Aftertaste

Feels dry in the mouth, but a tangerine-citrus character slowly builds in the aftertaste. Delicious.

Dregs

Intense menthol. Not pleasant.
