Hi there! I’m Riho, a craft beer enthusiast. In August 2025, I liked this beer so much at the Seattle taproom that I had two pints. Now I’m reviewing it again from a can — Human People x Everywhere Beer “human people are everywhere” (DDH Hazy IPA 7.5%).

This beer is a collaboration between Human People Beer, a rising Seattle brewery started by a former Modern Times brewer, and Everywhere Beer, the World Beer Cup 2025 Hazy IPA gold medal winner. The hops used are Citra and Nelson.

Tasting Notes

Appearance & Aroma

From the moment you pour, intense tropical hops fill the air. The Citra and Nelson combination creates a hop candy character reminiscent of Monkish beers, but this one expresses it in a distinctly different way. Where Monkish leaves a lingering, mellow aftertaste, this beer fades to a light, dry finish that vanishes cleanly.

Mouthfeel & Flavor

The mouthfeel is beautifully clean, with a slight prickle that’s not at all unpleasant. There’s a complex grain character on the palate that gradually transitions into bitter chocolate. The post-sip flavor hits you with intense hop candy! Despite the substantial 7.5% ABV, it’s silky and bone-dry. The way it just vanishes is almost “frightening” in how drinkable it is.

Finish

Human People’s signature dry finish is on full display in this collaboration. Full-bodied and silky, yet bone-dry in flavor that vanishes almost instantly. I finished the can in under five minutes. This cemented Human People as my favorite IPA brewery in Seattle.
