Taproom Atmosphere

The place was buzzing from noon, with weekend energy filling the air. The spacious patio is dog-friendly, and many guests brought their pets. Different food trucks appear each evening, offering great food pairings. The staff are friendly and approachable, creating an atmosphere where even Belgian beer novices can ask questions freely.

Beer Tasted: Fruit Saison

I ordered a red berry fruit saison. The fruit’s tartness and gentle sweetness melded with the beer’s body for a modern, smooth mouthfeel – an enchantingly delicious experience.

Traditional Belgian saisons are known for their spicy, somewhat complex yeast character, but Bruz Beers’ fruit saison beautifully harmonizes fruit with that personality, creating an approachable beer even for Belgian beer newcomers. It was a pleasant surprise to be moved by a completely different style toward the end of a trip when I was growing tired of American IPAs.
