Wow, this sounds like such an interesting beer! I can’t wait to find out what it tastes like!

Trillium / Daily Serving (BERLINER WEISE 4.2%)

Appearance
White and hazy. Orange-tinted, similar to a Weisse.

Aroma (Orthonasal)
Fruity, like smelling fresh fruit directly. Mandarin orange, cherry? Shikuwasa (Okinawan citrus)? A certain tartness?

Aroma (Retronasal)
Orange. A concerning note of griddled bean sprouts and potato-like character?

Mouthfeel
Low carbonation and gentle.

Body & Texture
An apple-like citrus character spreads across the tongue.

The Swallow
Has a pleasant quality like apple juice.

Aftertaste
Hop tartness, fruit acidity, and sweetness linger for a long time. Pleasant.

Overall Impression
The fruit is clean, but the griddled bean sprout quality and potato character (starch?) are strong and undermine everything. The cloying sweetness is also bothersome. Not to my taste.

Off-Flavors
Griddled bean sprout and potato-like character?

Bottom of Glass
Smoothie-like. Not cloying. But again, the griddled bean sprout and potato quality
