Appearance
Clear. Golden.

Aroma (Orthonasal)
Cucumber, watermelon rind-like melon character. El Dorado. Slightly berry. Strata.

Aroma (Retronasal)
Watermelon rind character and a berry-like tartness.

Mouthfeel
Distinctly beer-like. Moderate carbonation.

Body & Texture
Pleasantly water-like and easy-drinking. A truly quaffable WCIPA. Even sitting on the tongue, the bitterness spreads so gently. The way bitterness is expressed is truly beautiful. Just a whisper of berry-like bitterness arrives, and you can hold it on your tongue indefinitely without fatigue. Serene.

The Swallow
Berry notes from Strata’s berry character, slightly dank? An elegant dankness. Feels great. There are undeniable dank elements. This is the WCIPA I love.

Aftertaste
A herbal, hoppy aftertaste lingers in the mouth for a long time. Very pleasant. Clean finish yet long-lasting aftertaste. I love this kind of balance.

Overall Impression
Flows like water yet delivers all the tropical and dank qualities you could want in a WCIPA. Perfection.

Off-Flavors
None detected.

Bottom of Glass
Nothing unpleasant. Hoppy with a strong wild character. Gulping it reveals a blend of hops and wild notes that’s vaguely reminiscent of a sports drink. Not bad. Still water-like. Even the bottom has absolutely no astringency or harshness—truly beautiful.
