Hoy voy a explicar sobre Camado Cerveceroy, hop! Esta es una cerveceria especial creada por Satoshi Niwa, un maestro cervecero legendario en la escena de la cerveza artesanal de Japon, hop!

Wow! A legendary brewer, guau! What kind of beer can you drink there?

🍺 Craft Beers I Drank at Camado Cerveceroy
SMaSH IPA 6.0%
I started with the West Coast IPA style SMaSH IPA. Strong bitterness but very drinkable and refreshing. The hop characteristics came through very cleanly. Just thinking about it makes me salivate.

How is SMaSH IPA different from regular IPA? Is it something beginners can enjoy?

SMaSH stands for «Single Malt and Single Hop,» hop! It’s a simple brewing method using only one type of malt and one type of hop, so you can purely taste the character of the ingredients, hop! For IPAs, having a dedicated glass makes the aroma significantly better, hop!

Yattokame Ale 5.0%
I had it in a pint glass. A smooth ale that permeates gently, despite being low alcohol, you can also feel a careful tea-like aroma, making me happy thinking «this is an ale…»

Is there a meaning behind the name «Yattokame Ale»? Also, could you tell me what kind of beer an ale is?

«Yattokame» is a name that relates to Kamado-cho where the brewery is located. Ale is one of the major beer categories, made using top-fermentation method, characterized by fruity aromas and complex flavors.
Hazy Triple IPA 10.2%
Since I had plans to meet someone afterward, I intended to only drink low-alcohol beers, but the excitement of seeing Niwa-san outside led me to try the high-alcohol beer too. When I think of Niwa-san, I first think of his legendary achievements in skillfully crafting high-alcohol beers.
This beer was truly delicious too. Complex tropical hop character, some astringency that’s not unpleasant, and the beautiful aroma of fresh hazy beer. I think I was able to enjoy all the beautiful aromas that can be experienced by raising the alcohol content. It was truly a grateful beer.

Hazy IPA is cloudy, but is there something wrong with that? I have an image that high-alcohol beers are hard to drink…

The cloudiness isn’t a problem, but rather a characteristic, hop! By minimizing filtration, it creates juicy fruit flavors and a smooth mouthfeel, hop! High-alcohol beers made by skilled brewers like Niwa-san allow you to enjoy complex aromas and flavors without feeling the alcohol, hop!
