This is the brewery where I was heartbroken last year when they changed their New Year’s hours and I just barely missed getting in! My dream finally came true this time! (A friend kindly served as designated driver.)

They had many IPAs, all delicious. The most impressive was the Habanero IPA. The jalapeño’s aroma, green-herbaceous notes, and acidity matched beautifully with the hop character reminiscent of chives and garlic — it was incredibly delicious.

Also, the pastry stout and the collaboration imperial stout with North Island Beer were both incredibly good.

I’d always loved their imperial stout and had been wanting to try it again, so it was truly an emotional moment.
