Hi there! I’m Riho, a craft beer enthusiast. During a business trip to Las Vegas in August 2025, I went brewery hopping. The very first stop left me absolutely stunned: Crafthaus Brewery. I described the impact as comparable to Wander Brewing in Bellingham, Washington – that’s how impressive this brewery was!

Atmosphere
The taproom has a sleek, Las Vegas-worthy atmosphere. The counter features multiple tap handles pouring primarily Czech-style lagers and malty selections. As the first stop of the day, I somehow ended up having 2 pints plus a flight – that’s how compelling the beers were (laughs).
Beer Details
Despite being my first stop, I ended up with 2 pints plus a flight… that’s how captivating these beers were. The common thread across every beer was malt-forward character with a surprisingly dry finish.

Czech Pilsner Flavor Profile
Normally, this much malt character would turn cloying, but the finish is incredibly dry. It’s just so cool. While Wander Brewing makes American Lager look cool with hops, Crafthaus achieves the same effect through malt. That two such different approaches can produce such distinct personalities gave me goosebumps.
Czech-style Pilsner features Saaz hops for a spicy bitterness character. What makes Crafthaus remarkable is achieving a dry finish through meticulous fermentation temperature and saccharification process control while keeping malt at the forefront. Combining malt character and dryness is truly the pinnacle of brewing technique!
Having this as my first stop in Las Vegas was almost unfair (laughs). I somehow ended up with 2 pints plus a flight right out of the gate. The philosophy of expressing beer through malt was so incredible it gave me chills. This is my top pick in Las Vegas, hands down!
Malty yet dry! It sounds contradictory but it creates the most perfect harmony! If you’re in Las Vegas, you absolutely must visit!
