Hey there! I’m Riho, a craft beer enthusiast. In September 2025, I visited the Woodinville location of Black Raven Brewing, known for their outstanding lagers. It’s one of the premier breweries representing the Seattle-area craft beer scene, and I’d been wanting to check it out for a while.

The Woodinville taproom has a relaxed atmosphere where you can take your time. Located in the Woodinville area, known as wine country, it’s perfect for stopping by during a drive or sightseeing trip. The staff is attentive and accommodating, creating an environment enjoyable for both beer beginners and aficionados. With two locations in Redmond and Woodinville, each with its own distinct character, visiting both is recommended.

Beers I Tried

I ordered one of their lager selections. Black Raven’s lager is characterized by being light and almost absorbing into your body as you drink. It’s the “just one more, just one more…” type of beer. No heaviness whatsoever, yet with solid malt flavor underneath. This is what PNW craft lager is all about.
