This is a collaboration beer between INKHORN and Rockaway.

Availability Period

I purchased it in the first week of October.

Where to Buy

I bought it at The Slop Shop. Since Harry May is the importer, it should also be available at Ben’s Slop Shop.

Beer Review

Appearance

Semi-clear with slight haze

Aroma

Aroma (Orthonasal)

パッションフルーツ系のフルーティなAroma。加えて白ぶどうやミント、少しの酸味などの、ニュージーランドホップによくあるCharacteristics。

Flavor (Retronasal)

Buttery, oily thickness. Diacetyl? Green apple, grapefruit. The acidity gives a cherry-like impression. There is also a slight melon/gourd character.

Taste

Mouthfeel

Natural beer-like quality. Clean wateriness.

Body and Texture

舌の上に乗ると奇麗な水っぽさ、全体を邪魔しない美しさがINKHORNコラボ感ある。しかし、そのあとにくる若ビール感、発酵期間が十分でなかったから出るようなTaste、若ビール感が目立つ。ダイアセチル？INKHORNのCharacteristicsは、澄んでいるからこそみたいなところがあるとおもう。発酵を担当したブルワリー由来だと思う。個人的にはとても気になるが、唐揚げやポテトチップスには合うと思う。これをヨシとする人もいるとおもう。

The Swallow

Gentle grassy hop quality. Freshness is evident.

Aftertaste

A refreshing sensation like grapefruit or a sports drink lingers.

Overall Impression

It would have been even better without the green beer character.

Sediment/Bottom

桃のようなAromaが強い。口に入れると強烈な湿布、ミント感。ダンクさはまったくなく、綺麗に飲み込める。
