An IPA with aromas reminiscent of yellow citrus fruits and tropical fruits, finishing clean and crisp.

Craft Beer Review

Appearance

Slightly hazy with a whitish tint, yet mostly clear.

Aroma

Aroma (Orthonasal)

A Fanta-like sweetness with strong Talus-derived coconut and yogurt-like protein notes. A milky, filmy character. Some hints of ripe melon and passion fruit, but light.

Flavor (Retronasal)

The yogurt-like Talus impression becomes very strong. Slightly tart coconut notes emerge, and as the temperature rises, the coconut nuances blend with a cooling alcohol sensation.

Mouthfeel

A natural, beer-like mouthfeel.

Body and Texture

Malt sweetness and alcohol. Grapefruit-like sweetness with hassaku (Japanese citrus) tartness and a strong clean finish.

The Swallow

Strong hassaku-like refreshment. It slides smoothly down the throat with a clean, pleasant minty freshness. Delicious. Right after swallowing, a mint-like coolness and coconut-yogurt impression washes through. Tropical.

Aftertaste

Reminiscent of sucking on a cooling menthol candy. Delicious and refreshing. The bitterness has a marmalade quality with an added cool sensation.

Dregs

Nearly the same impression as the main pour. Delicious. Just a slight astringency lingers at the moment of swallowing.

Overall Impression
