Appearance

Slightly white-tinged and transparent.

Aroma

Orthonasal Aroma

Frozen peach-like sweetness with grapefruit underneath. Tropical notes too – peach-driven tropical. Subtle banana-like esters layered beautifully. Slight kiwi-like alcohol.

Retronasal Flavor

Grassy impression. Strong grapefruit peel-like quality minus the acidity. Surprisingly not astringent at all. Gulping reveals an elegant, gentle grapefruit impression. Sweetness with a dried persimmon-like quality.

Taste

Mouthfeel

Low carbonation entering the mouth gently. Alcohol asserts itself immediately upon entry.

Body and Texture

Medium body. Substantial but doesn’t interfere with hops. A water-like impression persists before rolling the liquid reveals intensely grassy hops. Bitterness spreads gradually. Alcohol coolness and bitterness arrive together, slowly building.

The Swallow

Zero resistance – drinks like water. Seems water-like, but the swallowing moment has a definite dank push into the back of the throat. Pleasant. Calm dankness. You keep reaching for more to re-experience this sensation.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

Aftertaste

Surprisingly dry. Clean and doesn’t linger. A faint impression of tart, non-bitter citrus mixed with chemical-like esters drifts toward the nose. Slight cherry-like quality too.

Bottom of the Glass

Some astringency in mouthfeel. Taste is similar to the main body but slightly prickly. Delicious. No unpleasant spiciness or bitterness at all, with a hazy-style mellow mango impression emerging. Delicious.

Overall Impression

Subtle but definite alcohol presence. Dankness that doesn’t rely on alcohol. A very clean and delicious beer. Despite containing no oats, the smoothness when swallowing is surprising. A beer that passes cleanly down the throat.
