What is NOLA Brewing?

New Orleans Lager & Ale Brewing Company (NOLA Brewing) is located in New Orleans’ Irish Channel neighborhood. The owner is a tech industry entrepreneur, and as an IT engineer myself who dreams of opening a brewery someday, he’s truly an inspiration. Whenever I asked other breweries “What do you recommend in New Orleans?”, NOLA’s name always came up. They’ve earned medals at GABF (Great American Beer Festival) and the World Beer Cup. Their barrel-aged beers and Irish stout are absolute must-tries.

Atmosphere & Barrel Room Tour

The staff turned out to be anime fans, and we had a great time chatting about our shared interest. They even gave us a tour of the barrel room and treated us to beers. I’m truly grateful. The taproom displays medals from GABF, World Cup, and other competitions, letting you appreciate their achievements while enjoying your beer.
